EDITORIAL & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Essential reading for anyone interested in 21st-century music, fashion, photography, culture. At the Fader I took on the role of both CD and Editorial Director, giving me the opportunity to execute on a total message. Keeping each issue fresh, current, and on-trend while retaining core identity and integrity  gave me a lot of tools I used in my post-editorial career. And in practical terms it meant wrangling everything from artists, models, creative talent, studios and locations to overseeing actual ink-on-paper print. At The Fader I also got to work with live event production, culminating in a MTV VMA post-party featuring performances from the Strokes and Yasiin Bey (then Mos Def) and guests including Deborah Harry and Jack White.
