Client: Pappagallo

Agency: Chandelier Creative

Role:  Creative Strategy & Copy

Description: Pappagallo was a popular shoe brand in the 1960s and ’70s, with an Audrey Hepburn feminine preppiness. The brand had long ceased to exist when the Nine West group came to us to resurrect it. We had a totally open brief, and I was tasked with establishing the brand's positioning and TOV.

I decided that the best way to do this was to create a personality who represented the brand and everything it stood for, and with whom the customers would identify and aspire to. We wanted the brand to be vivacious, free-spirited, and fun. As she came to life she became the inspiration for the brand's designers, and helped guide them in their creative decision. She was a lot of fun!
